The importance of an initial meeting is often underrated. To achieve an effective therapy outcome, multiple factors have to come into alignment:
As the therapist:
We have established a streamlined process with targeted questions during the initial meeting that will enable us to evaluate if it is indicated and appropriate for you to receive sessions from us
We are happy to commit our time and energy to provide this free initial meeting, because we understand how crucial it is to assess the above factors as best as the both of us can, before we commit to the therapy process, with the aim to achieve effective outcomes
As the client:
You will have the chance to assess our capability, how comfortable you are working with us, clarify any questions you may have, and possibly gain new insights about your issue in the process
This enables you make to make a more informed decision before you decide to commit further to therapy sessions
For both of us:
Our interaction will help us gauge if we can build a beneficial therapeutic relationship to best facilitate your healing
With rapport and trust, you will then feel safe to let us guide you towards the outcomes you need

We will respond to you as soon as we can, and provide a Zoom video meeting link for our initial meeting. You can join as a participant by clicking on the link without having to create a Zoom account.
Please be on time as the meeting will be considered missed and cancelled if you do not join the meeting within 10 minutes after the start time. For rescheduling or cancellation of the initial online meeting, please refer to our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Therapy Sessions
During each online therapy session, please ensure the following:
Be in a separate room, undistracted by family members or pets
Be able to recline or lie down in a comfortable position (on a bed, reclining chair or sofa)
Reliable internet connection
Laptop, tablet, or cell phone with a camera - position (with a stand if needed) so that the upper half of your body is visible
Headset (headphone with inbuilt microphone)
Anything else to make you comfortable (pillow, blanket, fan or air-conditioning)
For each in-person therapy session:
You may wish to bring along some water and a small blanket or covering (if you prefer your own) to make yourself more comfortable during the session
We may arrange our first session at the end of the initial meeting if we are both agreeable to proceed.
You will receive a booking email thereafter with a Zoom video meeting link (for online session) or venue & parking details (for in-person session), and the PayPal payment link for the session.
Kindly note that session fee is payable in advance at the time of booking to confirm the session. If 2 or more sessions are booked at the same time, they will be billed together as the appointment slots will be reserved for you.
